Retired Company President: 'It is phenomenal entertainment'

PHOENIX—Retired company president, Mr. Bob Frank and his wife, Beverley, were very enthusiastic about seeing Shen Yun Performing Arts at the ASU Gammage on March 28. They really enjoyed the show which was the final of three performances in Phoenix, and Mr. Frank made the comment that it was a pity that more people would not get the chance to see the show.
Mr. Frank said that he thought the closing piece, Knowing the True Picture Offers Ultimate Hope was the best.
In this piece, cosmic and earthly merge in a powerful vision of renewal. A theme explored in the opening dance is revisited. Namely, that the glorious culture of antiquity was brought by higher lives and meant to sustain the moral integrity of humankind.
They both found the drums fantastic, and Mrs. Frank particularly loved the costumes and the dancing, but said, "everything was wonderful."
"We went to many, many broadway shows," explained Mr. Frank. "We have been to theatre. We've been to the opera. This was a fantastic show. Everyone should come and see it.
"This is absolutely first class entertainment, it is phenomenal entertainment, it's wonderful, it's everything."
Mr. Frank concluded by saying that everything about the show was wonderful, the choreography, the costumes, the scenery and the stories. "It was great. Thank you very much."
Tradition Remains Throughout the Ages
Also at the show on Saturday evening was Ms. Allison Noe, who works with visually impaired children.
Ms. Noe enjoyed the show enormously. “The dancers are absolutely wonderful and they just make everything look so intricate and so delicate and even just the slightest movements are amazing, and they make a difference within the show.”
She was amazed that tradition, as portrayed through legends and story telling, had remained throughout the ages.
